Not every visit is about something broken. During a cooling tune-up at a Morris home, our technician carried out two small pieces of work that quietly protect both the equipment and the air in the house.
The first was a drain pan treatment. The evaporator drain pan sits wet all cooling season, which makes it an ideal place for biological growth to take hold. Left alone, that growth is what eventually blocks a condensate drain and puts water where it shouldn’t be. Treating the pan keeps it clear.
The second was replacing the UV bulb in the home’s air purification system. These bulbs have a service life — they keep glowing well after they’ve stopped doing useful work, so the only way to know is to track the replacement interval. A fresh bulb restores the system to full effectiveness.
Neither job takes long, and neither announces itself. That’s rather the point: small maintenance done on schedule is what keeps the bigger failures from happening. Learn more about our indoor air quality services, or call or text (204) 808-3000.
